This chassis-only model was my first attempt at super detailing. Years earlier I had built a Pocher F40, but the body and windows were in poor shape. Resurrecting it as a chassis-only model solved some of those issues but created more. A partially complete Autograph transkit helped (bought at a bargain price), but there was still a significant amount of scratch building involved. Wherever possible I used original drawings, protoype photographs and engineering common-sense to fill in the gaps. A subsequent discovery of the F40 homologation drawings validated the model. On later models I used a better camera and took more photos. Still, these photos may help.
