1935 Austin Seven Mk 1 - Body Construction
In these photos, the initial body construction is pretty much complete. Painting has started, as has some final assembly. However, at this point, most of the body shell assembly shown here is simply held together with pegs.
The fit up of the LED headlights, sidelights and brake light is also complete. Power is from a 9V battery, hidden in the back of the rear seat.
Body
Luggage rack hinges up under the boot lid.
The two large tabs at the rear and two smaller ones at the front provide solid attachments to the body shell.
Headlights, Sidelights & Rear Light
The boot (trunk) lid is removable so spade connectors, top and bottom, retain the electrical connections.
